I'm not in love with technology, I don't hate it either, but we are not one to each other.... maybe I just like to stay in stone age in a lot of ways of doing things. The best example is that I would prefer walking to driving, and a pencil instead of a keyboard.
But I have to admit my life was a lot better when I got a laptop.
I used to think I was a simple person, and I wouldn't need expensive things if I already have something else to work with.
So, when I went to the university in my first year I brought my big computer to Santiago with me, it was really heavy and used a lot of space in my room, and I didn't have internet yet. It was so annoying. In my second year I was so tired of it that I decided to buy a laptop.
I was so happy that I was carrying it everywhere, the greatest thing was that I could put it in my bag and go out to any place with free wifi; even I used to say it was so light that I should never be tired of carrying it.... that was not true, of course, and now I know that even my notebook has its limitations of bringing it everywhere.... so now I'm thinking on buying an ipad =)
I'm still loving my notebook, it's very useful to do all the assignments in my career, and I found I can improve it with some accessories like a tablet to draw, new memories, and great programs :) ... so I'm using it for all the things now, communicating, playing, working, seeing movies, checking recipes, buying things...
My life without it would be awful, even worse if I didn't have a wifi signal at home. Now I think about it... that's a great technology too.
